Mary & Jon Schalow
Wedding
Mary Erickson and Jon Schalow were united in marriage Oct. 17, 2009, at Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield, with the Rev. Mark Krueger officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dennis and Ruth Erickson of Spencer and James and Jane Schalow of Marshfield.
Matron of honor was Jessie Erickson. Bridesmaids were Jill Helgerson, Jackie Rhoades, Leslie Hill, Sandy Tschetter and Jammie Erickson.
Flower girl was Jordyn Helgerson. Ringbearers were Seth Rhoades, Rece Rhoades and Aidan Helgerson.
Best man was Paul Helgerson. Groomsmen were Brian Erickson, Joel Rhoades, Allen Jahr, Mark LaPointe and Adam Hinker.
Ushers were Steve LaPointe, James Layton, Dana Meissner and Jason Schilling.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay. She is employed at Marshfield Clinic.
The groom is a graduate of UW-Stevens Point and works for S&S Insurance.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas. They live in Marshfield.

Jason and Katie Kremer
Wedding
Katie Grams and Jason Kremer were married at sunset on the beach in Virginia Beach, Virginia on August 17, 2009. They first met while boating, so naturally they wanted a beach wedding. Following their intimate beach ceremony, they celebrated their wedding at Waterman’s in Virginia Beach. Parents of the bride are Terry and Lora Grams, parents of the groom are James and Margie Kremer, all of Rhinelander.
The Bride is a 2001 graduate of Rhinelander High School. She is a licensed Cosmetologist and received a degree in Business Management and Marketing in 2007 from Nicolet Technical College in Rhinelander. She is the owner of House of Hair Salon in Rhinelander.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Marshfield Senior High and a 2000 graduate of University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics Education. He will graduate with a Masters Degree in Education from St. Mary’s University, Minneapolis, MN in the spring of 2010. He is a Mathematics teacher at Rhinelander High School.
The couple honeymooned in Atlantic City, New Jersey. They live in Rhinelander, Wl.

Denk & Wadington
Engagment
The engagement of Jason Denk and Jessica Wadington is announced.
Jessica is the daughter of Kathy Wadington and Bill Oswald, and Richard Wadington, all of Addison, Ill. She is a graduate of Illinois State University and is employed by the Maywood-Melrose Park School District.
Jason is the son of Merlin and Jeanne Denk of Marshfield. He is a graduate of Marshfield High School and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He is employed as a sports coach, and also works for the Maywood-Melrose Park School District.
An April 17, 2009, wedding is planned.

Wedding
Peter Randolph Cusic and Genevra Auburn Loesch were married August 9, *2009, at St. James Episcopal Church in Minneapolis, Minn.
The groom’s mother co-officiated the ceremony. Music was provided by the bride’s brother, Matthew Loesch of Tempe, Ariz., and the groom’s uncle, James Nelson of Clearwater, Fla.
Parents of the couple are Marshall and Georgeanne Cusic of Marshfield; Louis and Gay Loesch of Alexandria, Minn., and Patrick and JoAnne May of Northfield, Minn.
The groom is a graduate of St. Olaf College and the Brown School of Cordon Bleu.
He is employed by Ruby Tuesday Restaurant, Eden Prairie, Minn.
The bride is employed by Illume Candles, Minneapolis, Minn.
The couple honeymooned in France where they attended the wedding to Thomas Twiggs, a friend of the groom.

Scott & Amanda Sasse
Wedding
Amanda Helene Nelson and Scott David Sasse, both of Chicago, Il, were married July 26, 2008, in a 6 p.m. ceremony. The ceremony was officiated by The Honorable John G. Laurie and music was provided by the Symphony Quartet. The bride was given away by her parents John and Susan Nelson. The bride’s friend Julie Solum read for the ceremony. The ceremony and reception was held on the terrace of the Chicago History Museum, followed by the formal dinner and dance inside the museum.
The maid of honor was Ann-Marie Nelson, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Leslie Alter, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah Sasse, sister of the groom, Jessica Baltz, Jessica Dosen, Erin Hall-Westfall, Marissa Latera, Anna Newman, Alix Schneider and Rachel Humke Topercer, all friends of the bride.
The best man was Joshua Bahr, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Adam Nelson, brother of the bride, Andrew Buchana, cousin of the groom, James Joseph, cousin of the groom, Sam Kovar, cousin of the groom, Matthew Emmerich, friend of the groom, Brian Fix, friend of the groom, Travis Liddell, friend of the groom, Ryan Ringle, friend of the groom, Andrew Roloff, friend of the groom. Ushers were Matthew Rush and Ryan Sunderbruch, both friends of the groom.
Amanda is the daughter of John and Susan Nelson of Marshfield, Wi. She is a 1995 graduate of Marshfield High School and graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1999. She also attended graduate school at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. She is currently in management for Crate & Barrel in Northbrook, Illinois.
Scott is the son of Terry and Nancy Lucht of Burlington, Wisconsin and Stephen Sasse of Denver, Colorado. He is a graduate of Hoffman Estates High School in Hoffman Estates, Illinois in 1996 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1999. He is currently a Real Estate Broker and Developer.
The couple honeymooned in Greece and the Greek Islands. The newlyweds are currently living in Chicago, Illinois.

Bryon and Diane Gaston
Wedding
Diane Deering and Bryon Thomas Gaston exchanged marriage vows on June 19, 2008, at Wendelstein Chapel, the highest church in Germany, overlooking the Alps. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Striebeck.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Donna Jakobi of Granton and Mr. Donald Deering of Wisconsin Rapids and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh and Clare Gaston II, of Wisconsin Dells, Wi.
Nichole Alderson served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids and sisters of the bride were Dawn Bowden of Denver, Co and Denise Deering of San Francisco, Ca and honorary bridesmaid Darcee Matthes of Rozelville, Wi. Flower girl was Kyra Bowden, niece of the bride, with her attire consisting of a German soccer jersey. Sunflowers and roses were presented to guests as they entered the church.
Hugh Gaston served as bestman.
After the ceremony, celebration continued in Tegernsee in the biergarten at Hotel Bayern followed by dinner. A celebration took place in August at Cold Water Canyon in Wisconsin Dells, Wi for family and friend that were unable to attend the June celebration.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Marshfield Senior High and a 2000 graduate from the UW-Stout where she received a bachelor’s degree in Technology Education and a 2003 Masters Degree from Walden University with an emphasis in Integrating Technology in the Classroom. She is currently employed as a Technology Education Teacher at Newton Middle School in Littleton, Colorado.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Wisconsin Dells High School and graduated from The Art Institute of Colorado in 1999. He is currently employed as a Visual Design Specialist at Barber Architecture in Denver, Colorado where he has been employed for the last ten years.
Their honeymoon will be spent road tripping along the west coast from La to Vancouver at a later date.
They currently reside in Denver, Colorado.

Rachelle Lynn Hasenfang and Gary Lee Erbst were married Aug. 8, 2008, at Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield, with the Rev. Daryn Bahn officiating. A reception followed at the American Legion Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Galen and Rhonda Hasenfang of Marshfield.
The groom is the son of Joann Anderson of Davenport, Iowa, Amy Otto of Davenport, Iowa, and the late Kenneth Erbst.
Maid of honor was Carissa Hasenfang. Bridesmaids were Nicole Tomlinson, Tracy Meidl and Erin Peterson.
Best man was Eric Engle. Groomsmen were Richie O’Brien, Justin Cochran and Bobby Shields.
Flower girls were Jordyn Osness, Sydney Keehner, Skyla Paul and RaeAnna Erbst. Ringbearer was Utah Keehner.
Seating guests were Josh Hasenfang and Janel Aflrederson.
The bride is employed by James L. Gilliland, DO, and the groom works for Upper Mississippi Fleeting.
They live in Davenport, Iowa.

Thomas & Noelle Twiggs
Noelle Swatland and Thomas Twiggs of New York City were united in marriage on September 27, 2008 at the Catholic Church in Reignac sur Indre, France. The ceremony was officiated by Father Ignace. The bride was given away by her father. A reception followed at the Chateau de Reignac.
The Maid of Honor was Katie Swatland of Newburyport, Massachusetts. Bo Twiggs of New York City was the Best Man.
Noelle is the daughter of Sally and Frank Swatland of Woodstock, Connecticut. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia, with a degree in Business Administration. Noelle worked for 10 years in Equity Research at Lehman Brothers. She recently left to begin her career as an Entrepreneur.
Thomas is the son of Susan and John Twiggs of Marshfield. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and is currently employed by Citadel Investment Group.
The couple plans to honeymoon at the North Pole this winter and makes their home in Soho, New York City.
