Wedding
Diane Deering and Bryon Thomas Gaston exchanged marriage vows on June 19, 2008, at Wendelstein Chapel, the highest church in Germany, overlooking the Alps. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Striebeck.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Donna Jakobi of Granton and Mr. Donald Deering of Wisconsin Rapids and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh and Clare Gaston II, of Wisconsin Dells, Wi.
Nichole Alderson served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids and sisters of the bride were Dawn Bowden of Denver, Co and Denise Deering of San Francisco, Ca and honorary bridesmaid Darcee Matthes of Rozelville, Wi. Flower girl was Kyra Bowden, niece of the bride, with her attire consisting of a German soccer jersey. Sunflowers and roses were presented to guests as they entered the church.
Hugh Gaston served as bestman.
After the ceremony, celebration continued in Tegernsee in the Biergarten at Hotel Bayern followed by dinner. A celebration took place in August at Cold Water Canyon in Wisconsin Dells, Wi for family and friend that were unable to attend the June celebration.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Marshfield Senior High and a 2000 graduate from the UW-Stout where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Technology Education and a 2003 Master’s Degree from Walden University with an emphasis in Integrating Technology in the Classroom. She is currently employed as a Technology Education Teacher at Newton Middle School in Littleton, Colorado.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Wisconsin Dells High School and graduated from The Art Institute of Colorado in 1999. He is currently employed as a Visual Design Specialist at Barber Architecture in Denver, Colorado where he has been employed for the last ten years.
Their honeymoon will be spent road tripping along the west coast from La to Vancouver at a later date.
They currently reside in Denver, Colorado.

Engagement
The engagement of Diane Deering and Bryon Gaston is announced.
Diane is the daughter of Donald and Sandra Deering of Wisconsin Rapids and Ronald and Donna Jakobi of Granton. She is a graduate of Marshfield High School and the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie. She is employed by the Littleton Public School District, Denver.
Bryon is the son of Hugh and Clare Gaston of Wisconsin Dells. He is a graduate of Wisconsin Dells High School and The Art Institute of Colorado. He is employed by Barber Architecture, Denver.
A summer 2008 wedding is planned.
